Nicki Fortunati-Warren is a multidisciplinary artist originally born near Milan, Italy. She works in a variety of mediums including oil and acrylic, ink, watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. She draws inspiration from many modern art movements such as German expressionism, impressionism, fauvism, and pop art. She is particularly fascinated with memory and nostalgia and the effects they have in art.

Her illustration work ranges from book style illustrations to food illustrations. Most of her illustrations are hand drawn and subsequently colored in Procreate pro. She has experience creating comic strips and had a relatively long running webcomic called “Stars over Chicago" and is involved with ongoing comic\graphic novel projects.
