Hello There!! My name is Rachel Nieman, and I am an artist & illustrator located in Houston, Texas. My work frequently features hand-painted illustrations and patterns using watercolor and gouache. I swing between quirky and stylish and can never figure out which one best suits me....So I've since thrown up my hands and decided to do both. I'm making weird stylish. I am primarily inspired by the travels my husband and I have. It frequently appears in my work in the forms of nature and animals. My husband, Ricky, also works at NASA, and I am constantly surrounded by all things space. So, naturally, you will find some quirky space related paintings popping up in my work as well.
In my free time, you'll find me hangin' with my hubby, Ricky, and my pup-assistant Frankie.
